Let’s face it! We all want skin that is naturally glowing and beautiful. Unfortunately, many of the patients who visit our Dallas medspa battle uneven skin tone, melasma, sun damage and age spots, making it difficult to get the radiant skin they want. That’s when Halo™ comes to the rescue!

Halo is the first-ever hybrid fractional laser. So what exactly does this mean? Halo delivers two different wavelengths at the same time to treat a wide range of problems. Most lasers have only one wavelength, which limits their benefits. Halo is unique because it simultaneously resurfaces the skin, like an ablative laser, while also helping the skin rebuild collagen from deep within like a non-ablative laser.

What Does HALO Treat?

If you experience any of the following skin conditions, Halo may be a great treatment option for you!

  • Discoloration
  • Sun damage
  • Visible signs of aging
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Melasma
  • Fine lines

Who can have a HALO laser treatment and which areas can it treat?

Halo is customizable and can treat most skin types. Our skilled aestheticians can treat the face and/or body, including the neck, chest, arms, hands and legs.

What does it feel like to have a Halo laser treatment?

Since we apply a topical numbing cream, most patients feel very little discomfort during the 30-45 minute treatment. Some patients have described it as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations, but we strive to keep everyone comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 60-90 minutes, or a bit longer with deeper treatment levels.

What is recovery like after Halo?

Swelling and redness are common after receiving a Halo treatment. Some patient’s skin continues to feel warm for 12-24 hours post-procedure. We recommend cold compresses to cool the skin or reduce swelling. By the second or third day after treatment, tiny dark spots and a bronzed appearance may become visible. This part of the healing process is the treated tissue working its way out of the body as fresh new skin is regenerated. It will begin to flake and peel for a few days, then you will begin to see your beautiful, rejuvenated skin!

How long will my results last?

The results from Halo will last for years to come, but it is important to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional Halo treatment you get after the first treatment will only improve the results, giving you even better looking skin.
